To pray through a Saint is very usual because Saints are living so closer to God in Heaven. Saints are powerful intercessors. Since the beginning, christians used to light candles in front of tombs of holy persons.

At the Shrine of Alençon, you can light a candle in front of relics of Saints Louis and Zelie and St. Therese. You can also confide a prayer intention.

In return for your offering, the Shrine will place and light your candle in a candle stand set aside for this purpose. The shrine commits itself to honor your request as soon as possible or at the wanted date.
